especially if you saw that press conference, which was like watching someone in junior high fake an oral report on a book he hadn't read, but asked his friends about. i mean, "suiciders"? what the fuck is that? it's not even a word. it's something that karl rove told dubya to say because a year or more back, they said we shouldn't refer to "suicide bombers" as such, because what they are trying to do is kill other people, so they are "homicide bombers". right, as opposed to all those who bomb merely to maim? or to distinguish them from therapeutic bombers, who are just looking for self esteem? seriously, we already have a word for those who bomb just to fuck shit up: saboteurs. (you say sabo-tahj, i say.. oh, forget it). now obviously the sound of george orwell spinning in his grave didn't change their minds about that idiotic phrase. we believe that after fox news obediently and sycophantically used the phrase a few thousand times, it became clear even to the slow-witted (though not yet to fox news) that the term ("homicide bombers") just sounds retarded. and so, ever unwilling to admit error, they just plundered onwards and found a new way to destroy the english language. hence, "suiciders". pretty fucking sad.
